WLAN installation Echelon 2016

The largest electronic open air festival in southern Germany hired the wirelessmaxx team to provide their fans with free access to the mobile network.

The Echelon 2016 Wi-Fi installation project required rapid and short-term planning, coordination, and implementation. The temporary, high-performance wireless network was to be deployed within a few hours. Various areas throughout the festival grounds were covered. The stand itself was connected via a nearly 700-meter-long microwave link. High-performance arrays were installed to ensure reliable coverage of this extensive area.

Additionally, our team set up a digital photo booth for visitors to use. Around 270 photos were taken throughout the festival, which were liked, shared, or commented on by visitors.

The festival will take place again next year. Of course, with a fantastic program and plenty of enthusiastic attendees.

We're already looking forward to next summer and will definitely be there again to realize the "WLAN Installation Echelon 2017."
