Demo Startup Night in Munich

600 guests, 60 startups: WIFI and interested parties came together to touch and try out new things. From software and hardware to apps, devices, and prototypes – there was a lot on offer. wifirockstars, a service provider for Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi for events, was able to provide the Wi-Fi for the Startup Demo Night. Regularly organized by BayStartUP in cooperation with Werk1, the Startup Demo Night attracted the who's who of the Bavarian startup scene for the seventh time.

The focus of the evening event was the second phase of the Munich Business Plan Competition. Of the 60 startups present, 10 were nominated for the #MunichBPW award. Five high-tech startups were honored as competition winners. 88 participating teams submitted their outline business plans by mid-March. The focus was on developing a marketing and sales concept. First place went to the founding team Park Here . The young company aims to establish more sustainable and faster-communication traffic systems in cities and municipalities using sensor-equipped parking spaces.

What is BayStartUP ?

It is the institution for startups, financing, and growth in Bavaria, supported by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and the business community. BayStartUP organizes several business plan competitions in the Bavarian region. A total of 200-300 startup teams participate each year.
