WIFI ROCKSTARS at AC/DC Rock or Bust World Tour 15
As part of the Rock or Bust World Tour 15 in the Veltins Arena Gelsenkirchen on June 12, 2015, around 43,000 rock 'n' roll fans were treated to first-class rock music. And the team of wifirockstars - with high demands, you could even call them challenges. The entire "WLAN for AC/DC" project was subject to quick and short-term planning, specifically just under 5 days from the request to implementation.
More support for the top acts with special requests
A completely temporary, very powerful WIFI network was installed including the entire infrastructure such as routers, switches, etc. for the various areas (backstage, production, crew, etc.) within the arena.
Stable WIFI was also booked backstage for the artists and management. To ensure a stay fit for world stars, the FC Schalke 04 dressing rooms and their guest cabins for the backstage and VIP areas were converted and adapted accordingly.

What was particularly important for this project, in addition to sophisticated technology, was quick action and consistent support during the event. The respective management had various special requests that we had to implement at short notice, and this also included reconstruction work shortly before the performance. All in all, a cool project with more live support, more rock star effect, more challenge.
